The Ministry of Defense, as before, performs its tasks professionally and responsibly and transparently reports on all developments. For the case of the theft in the defense department, which is temporarily located in the premises of a public enterprise, an investigation has been opened by the relevant competent organizational units in the Ministry of Defense, which in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior should complete this procedure.

This is the reaction from the Ministry of Defense regarding the statement of Dragan Kovacki from VMRO - DPMNE about stolen classified documents and about stolen computers that contained strictly confidential documents.

The Ministry of Defense informs that it is not a question of documents that can harm the vital interests of the state, because, it is emphasized in the reaction, there are no such documents in the computers of the regional defense departments.

- Regarding the accusations of the political party represented by the former member of the Army, and now MP Kovacki, we inform you that there will be criminal responsibility for the perpetrators, as well as for the organizer and instigator of this crime. Regarding the degree of classification of the documents, no one can speak before the investigation is completed, it is clarified in the reaction of the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense calls on MP Kovacki to refrain from, as stated in the reaction, spreading misinformation and to read the legal regulations that the past period has shown that he is not on his side.
