Greener and cleaner municipalities, with more planted trees, new green areas and parks - these are just some of the ideas given by the young residents of the Skopje Airport and Kisela Voda municipalities, who, in cooperation with the "Go Green" organization, give them an open opportunity to this category of citizens to offer their ideas and solutions for a better and more ecological environment in which they live.

- Young people living in the Airport have the opportunity to express and submit their requests, solutions, proposals and ideas for a greener municipality. This is the second initiative organized by "Go Green" with the partnership and support of the Municipality of Aerodrom - it is stated in the announcement from the municipal government.

The local self-government explains that the first set of requests given by the young residents of the municipality, as they say from there, passed with a high success rate.

- Some of the requests that are under the direct authority of the Municipality have already been resolved, and for the rest we are in the process of realizing them. It was from these proposals that some creative solutions emerged. Among the demands that were released at the first call is the new practice at the Airport, where investors are obliged to provide bicycle parking, in different ways to protect green areas, pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as new innovative solutions for the new parks throughout the Airport - explained by the Municipality of Aerodrom.

The Municipality believes that with such ideas and solutions, the local self-government together with the citizens will be able to contribute to a more beautiful, greener and healthier living environment, and as they say from there, this initiative guarantees that the suggestions of young people will be heard and the ideas realized.

With an announcement on social networks, the Municipality of Kisela Voda invites young people to give their suggestions that will increase the green areas in a certain territory, but also to give their ideas and proposed solutions for a greener, cleaner and more urban environment in which they will live.

- The open call for collecting youth proposals for green Kisela Voda is underway, which is being implemented through the cooperation of Kisela Voda Municipality and the "Be Green" association. We encourage young people with their solutions and ideas to participate in the creation of changes that should make Kisela Voda a better and more ecological place to live - it is stated in the announcement of the Municipality of Kisela Voda.
