The young swimmer Marko Pejcinovski received a state scholarship

Prime Minister Kovacevski received the young swimmer Marko Pejcinovski in his office today, accompanied by the director of the Agency for Youth and Sports, Naumce Mojsovski.

Kovachevski heartily congratulated Pejchinovski on his swimming successes so far and sent a message that the Government, through the Agency for Youth and Sports, will continue to support young successful athletes who are strong promoters of sports culture in the country.

As a sign of recognition of Pejchinovski, who despite a rare disease achieves outstanding sports results, Prime Minister Kovacevski presented the young swimmer with the decision for a scholarship in the amount of 200.000 denars, funds provided through the National Federation "Sport for All".

With this, respect and gratitude was shown to this young athlete for his personal example of sacrifice and high sports achievements that Pejcinovski dedicated to raising awareness for people with rare diseases.

His last sporting success, which caused admiration, was swimming the 64-kilometer section on the route Ohrid - Struga - St. Naum - Ohrid.

The meeting also discussed the future sports and professional plans of the young athlete and the Government's commitment to invest in a modern, safe and accessible sports infrastructure intended for recreational and professional sports, in order to develop the sport according to world standards.
