Two police officers were injured, one of them seriously, when a driver from Idrizovo ran over them on the "Friendship" highway between Veles and Katlanovo, the Ministry of Interior announced.

"On 27.09.2022 on the highway "Prijatelsto", near the village of Katlanovo, Skopje, M.M. (24) from the village of Idrizovo, Skopje, driving a passenger vehicle "Ford Focus" with stolen license plates in Veles, in the direction from Veles towards Katlanovo, he did not stop at a stop sign given by police officers and hit two police official vehicles and two police officers with his vehicle," said the police.

"At the same time, M.M. was seriously injured. and one police officer, and another police officer and eight migrants, who were transported in the vehicle, were injured. An inspection was carried out and after complete documentation and clarification of the case, an appropriate report will be submitted", added the Ministry of the Interior.
