Miss Ukraine spoke about Miss Russia: She tried several times to take a "friendly photo"
R' Bonnie Gabriel from the United States won the title Miss Universe on the Saturday of the election held in New Orleans.

The moment Gabrielle entered the top 5, the host asked her the question: “Miss Universe recently introduced a change. From this year, women who are married and women who have children can participate in the competition. What change would you like to see and why?"
"I would like to see an increase in the age limit because I am 28 years old. That is the oldest age at which a woman can enter the competition. And I think that's a beautiful thing. One of my favorite thoughts is: 'If not now, when?'. As a woman, I believe that age should not define us", said Gabriel.
Apart from the winner, the representatives of Ukraine and Russia also attracted attention at this year's competition. After selection, Ukrainian Victoria Apanasenko she talked about the relationship with Miss Russia Anna Linikova.

"Ukraine's efforts to exclude the Russian representative from the beauty pageant were unsuccessful", Victoria told the Ukrainian TV channel "TSN News".
"We worked a lot on it, but she got an American visa and that decided her participation in the competition. If the Americans give her a visa, the organizing committee cannot exclude her from the competition.", explained the Ukrainian, reported The New Voice of Ukraine.

Victoria Apasenko also highlighted the effort of the Russian woman to be photographed next to her at the competition.
"Her organizing committee told her to take a selfie with me", Victoria said.
"And this wasn't the first time she tried to do this." I have only one question for her and so far I have not received an answer: 'Does she support the policy of her president who started the war in Ukraine or not'. Several times he offered to take a 'friendly photo,'" said Victoria.
By the way, the Ukrainian Victoria Apanasenko did not enter the top 16.
