Mirkulovski is finishing his career, he will be an assistant coach at Wetzlar

As is already known, Filip Mirkulovski (38) ended his national team career in the best way in Skopje, a month ago Macedonia secured a new participation in the World Championships.
Wetzlar announced today that our playmaker at the end of this season ends his career as a professional handball player and that he will have a new position in the German club, ie he will be an assistant coach.
For Mirkulovski, a new phase in his career in professional handball begins in the summer.
- I am happy to stay as an assistant coach in Wetzlar after my playing career. I am grateful to the club leaders who gave me the chance to develop as a coach. I am also looking forward to an even more intense collaboration with Ben Macke. I met him as a great person and a great young coach. It will be a pleasure to help him. Next season we will have one of the youngest teams in the Bundesliga. I am honored to be able to share my experience and handball knowledge with the players. Our team is strategically well put together and promises a successful future for Wetzlar. A lot of work follows - says Mirkulovski for the club site.
Mirkulovski in his career as a player played for Metalurg, Mladost Bogdanci, Hanover-Burgdorf and from 2015 to 2022 in the colors of Wetzlar.
