The Ministry of Justice called unfounded the claims of the president of VMRO - DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, that the Amnesty Law will be carried out in a shortened procedure with a European flag.

- The Minister of Justice, Krenar Loga, from the very first day, and also at the media briefing held last week, clearly stated that this law will not be carried with the European flag and that he is personally against the possibility of misuse of the European flag for carrying of laws. VMRO DPMNE should not take an empty position, when they have been informed from the first day about all the details. The amnesty law is the same as that of 2018, with the same crimes for which no amnesty is provided. That law was signed and supported by VMRO DPMNE. No matter how much VMRO DPMNE wants to amnesty its former elected and appointed persons, there will be no such law, the statement from the Ministry of Justice states.

Regarding the announcements of leaving the Parliament by the deputies of VMRO-DPMNE, as indicated in the announcement, it is welcome news for the citizens of our country.

- The lack of a position on important issues and policies of blockade are better expressed by leaving the Parliament and that is a gesture of welcome from our side. Perhaps, this is how Mr. Hristijan Mickoski wants to help the homeland by opening a space for voting on the constitutional amendments and opening the way to the EU, the statement from the Ministry of Justice points out.
