
Bosnian Security Minister Nenad Nesic, suspected of corruption, resigns
Bosnia and Herzegovina's Minister of Security Nenad Nešić has submitted his irrevocable resignation from this position, he announced on his official Facebook profile.

"I hereby wish to resign from the position of Minister of Security in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina for moral reasons, due to all past events, which will be announced tomorrow and submitted to all authorized institutions through my lawyers," Nesic said.
Nesic was arrested in December for corruption. In addition to Nesic, Milan Dakic, director of the public company "Putevi RS", Mladen Lucic, brother of former minister in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milos Lucic, and four other people were also arrested.
They are suspected of committing crimes in management positions at "Putevi RS" and an unnamed company: conspiracy to commit crimes, money laundering, abuse of official position or authority, and accepting bribes.
