Milososki: SDSM should clearly state which proposal of VMRO-DPMNE it accepts, otherwise there is no need for negotiations

I would like to briefly refer to yesterday's sessions of the Executive and Central Board of SDS. For the working groups that SDS is forming to make sense, the party must say which of the two proposals of VMRO-DPMNE is acceptable to them, otherwise there is no need for further negotiations and waste of time.

The first proposal made by the president of VMRO, Hristijan Mickoski, is:

Transitional government without DUI, exit of DUI from all echelons, and constitutional changes that would come into force only on the day of Macedonia's membership in the EU. And that country would receive as a guarantee that Bulgaria will also be actively interested in our inclusion in the EU, and that Macedonia will receive a certain certainty that there will be no further Bulgarian irrational blockades.

The second proposal made by VMRO-DPMNE is early elections this fall, with three dates given that SDS should think about when they would be held in September or October, then guarantees from European institutions for the protection of national interests of Macedonia, by guaranteeing the centuries-old identity, but at the same time assurances will be given that the country will not have the irrational blockades from Bulgaria again every year.

In addition, after the elections, the new Prime Minister of Macedonia will request an economic package for a better standard in the country from the European Commission, which will mean preparing both the economy and the citizens for competitiveness in the EU itself. And, for the sake of good neighborliness, we would ask Bulgaria to fulfill 3 judgments of the ECtHR in Strasbourg, which are already final, according to the choice of the official Sofia. This is how we will prove that when we talk about good neighborliness, we are not only talking about compromises or concessions on the part of Macedonia, but we are also talking about obligations that are internationally valid for Bulgaria as well.

After those early elections, whoever is in the opposition will have the obligation to support the Government and the state in these steps for the interest of Macedonia and our European integration.

Both proposals, the first and the second, we note, include dethroning DUI, because they are a 20-year-old virus that atrophies institutions with high corruption and great inefficiency.

DUI is no longer in a position to condition, it is the position of VMRO-DPMNE, that DUI should go into opposition and that this will be useful for the institutions and for the trust of the citizens in the state. High corruption must be faced with responsibility, and within DUI it exists on a large scale.

The formation of working groups would make sense only if SDS clearly states which of these two proposals of VMRO-DPMNE is acceptable to them.

In addition, we want to emphasize that all spins about the constitutional amendments and their acceptance under Bulgarian dictation are untrue because VMRO-DPMNE reminds both SDS and DUI that in these circumstances such dictation of constitutional amendments will not pass.

If they don't believe it, let them postpone it on Monday in the Assembly and they will see that they will fail.

Therefore, instead of SDS convening IO and CO, and forming working groups that would have no essential work, it is better to accept to give up DUI and secondly to clearly state which of the two proposals of VMRO-DPMNE are acceptable to them.

SDS and DUI are aware that they are losing the power that they have been abusing for a long time, but the time is coming when they will have to face elections and responsibility. There will be responsibility for all actions and mistakes and illegalities, regardless of which proposal from VMRO-DPMNE for SDS will be acceptable. There is no escape from that. That's why we expect SDS to give an answer, instead of continuing with manipulations.
