Milosevic quit at the last moment, Gordan Petric is the new coach of Partizan
Although the Serbian media announced that everything was agreed and Savo Milosevic will be the new coach of Partizan, the former Serbian representative changed his mind at the last moment and did not accept the offer.
The management of the "black and whites" reacted promptly and appointed Gordan Petric as the new coach.
He will replace Ilija Stolica in the coaching chair, who was fired yesterday due to disastrous results.
Stolica led the team for the last time yesterday, when Partizan was eliminated by AEK Larnaca in the third round of the Europa League qualifiers.
Petric (53) played twice for Partizan during his playing career, and was also a player for OFK Belgrade, Dundee United, Rangers, Crystal Palace, AEK and Hearts.

His assistant will be former Partizan football player Albert Nagj, and the promotion of the new coach is scheduled for Saturday at 16 pm.
Partizan will play the match of the sixth round of the Serbian Superliga against Mladost GAT on Sunday in Novi Sad.
