The President of the LDP, Goran Milevski, himself, without consent and party decision, proposed himself as a Minister in the Government, writes A1on, citing an internal document in the LDP.

"Yesterday's election of the Government and the election of Goran Milevski as a member of the Government violated the Statute of the LDP. At the last session of the Central Committee, a position was taken on conducting negotiations and a request to Prime Minister-designate Kovacevski for the participation of the LDP in the Government. The decision to participate and secure another ministerial term of Milevski happened without holding a previous session of the Central Committee and making a decision to participate in the Government. According to Article 38 paragraph 17 of the Statute of the LDP: "The Central Committee determines the list of candidates for members of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia from the ranks of the LDP", reads the letter to the Central Committee, signed by Filip Avramchev, member of the Central Board.

He asks the members of the Supervisory Board to initiate appropriate proceedings against President Milevski for violating the party's statute.

"As our ideological commitment is that no one should be above the laws of the state, so in the party no one should be on the statute, not even the president of the party, and at least at the moment when he is personally affected," Avramchev wrote in the letter. to party bodies.

Asked if this was his letter requesting action against the party leader Milevski, Avramchev told A1on that he did not want to comment on the internal developments in the LDP.

"LDP is a democratic party and we solve all party problems within the party and I would like it to continue like that," Avramchev replied.

In a statement for the portal Local, Milevski led that he has the full support of the party's Central Committee, and the LDP leadership considered that there was no need to reaffirm the party's participation in the government and his ministerial position.
