On the eve of Sunday's derby from the Macedonian handball league between Vardar and Eurofarm Pelister, the two presidents of the clubs, Mihajlo Mihajlovski и Zoran Sterjev they had a meeting and issued a joint statement which you can read in full.

In the joint statement, the two presidents appealed to the coaches, players, fans and sports fans on Sunday to win the sport, to win the currently better team, to win handball. For the realization of that, all of us, direct (players and coaches) and indirect actors of the competition, should contribute as much as possible within the framework of our roles, the desire to become a reality.

As the first men of the clubs, we are fierce sports rivals on the field, but at the same time good sports friends, and friends outside of sports. We strongly believe in the sports idea and story, and we make all possible efforts to enable conditions for the dispute to win and the currently better team to win, said the joint statement of the two clubs.

The winner is decided and should be decided on the field. That's why we should all positively support that process, cheer loudly, civilized and correctly. No lit pyrotechnic device, no boxing or physical attack on the stands, no stone thrown in front of the hall, before or after the match will decide the winner of the match. Such reports will only spoil the sports atmosphere, harm the clubs and spoil the desire to watch a correct, fair and quality sports handball match, says the announcement, which you can read in full.
