Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mutsunski are staying in Brussels today and tomorrow, where the Growth Plan will be on the agenda. If the European integration process is discussed, Mickoski says that he will defend and defend the Macedonian national interests, but he will also convey the frustration of the citizens.

Answering journalist's questions, Mickoski said that the document on the Growth Plan has been submitted to the European Commission.

- The first and highest quality document, which was at a standstill for many months. With the formation of the Government, we submitted it to the office of the European Commission here in Skopje, so that it will then arrive in Brussels. That is the purpose of my visit and working lunch with the new president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen - said Mickoski.

He says that if they discuss the European integration process, they will present the arguments and frustration felt by Macedonian citizens.

- Even now we have more arguments. We want to present the arguments, we want to convey the frustration felt by Macedonian citizens there, because it is big, huge I would say, because more than two and a half decades after we started our path towards the European Union, more than a decade and a half after we officially received the first positive report from the European Commission for the start of these negotiations. We are not able to start not because we do not respect the Copenhagen criteria, not because we are lovers of European values, but because there are artificially imposed obstacles, which no nation, no country has had, as we have - said Mickoski.

To a journalist's question whether the position he has regarding constitutional amendments with delayed effect can be part of the talks in Brussels, Mickoski replied that he would not like to comment, but says that the Government's positions on this issue are clear.

- I would not like to comment, the position of VMRO-DPMNE, the position of the Government is clear. My position is clear. Enough of defeats, enough of policies and diplomacy of bent spine and kissing shoes. Now we have politics and diplomacy, which are based on a two-way street. I want to talk about values, about respect for human rights and to know that if we start it, as we were promised in that year 2018, in three, four, five years maximum, we will finish that road and be a member of the European Union - he said Mickoski.
