Mickoski: The participation of Alternative in such a government is a wrong step
Any participation of the political party Alternative in such a government is a wrong step, but it remains with the leadership and the leader of that party, said the leader of VMRO DPMNE, Hristija Nickoski today in Bitola.
At a press conference, Mickoski said he did not want to interfere in the work of other political parties because it is politically uncultured.
- I am not up to date with the content of the conversation between Zaev and Gashi. Our position is clear, this government is the most corrupt government in the past 30 years and it nails Macedonia at the bottom according to the perception of crime, ie it is at the top according to the degree of crime and corruption. Our country is 111 and is the most corrupt in Europe. We are a country that has the most non-competitive education due to the catastrophic reforms, the health situation is terrible and as a country we are in the top three in terms of the number of people who lost their lives due to the inability of the government to deal with the pandemic. We will feel the catastrophe in the energy sector from the 1st in our own pocket, or to conclude, any participation of the political party Alternative in such a government is a wrong step, but it remains to the leadership and the leader of that party, and I do not want to interfere in the work of other political parties because it is politically uncultured, said Mickoski.
He stressed that if the Republic of Bulgaria vetoes the start of EU negotiations with Northern Macedonia again, the security situation in the country will not deteriorate.
- I heard from a current Deputy Prime Minister that he threatens with militant statements that there will be security problems and therefore I want to reassure the citizens that there will be no such problems and that the only security threat to the country is the criminal coalition of SDSM and DUI. I would not like to believe in the attempt to manipulate and instill fear in the citizens by politicians who do not know how to see the future, said Mickoski.
During his stay in Bitola, the President of VMRO - DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski accompanied by the Mayor Toni Konjanovski participated in a meeting with businessmen from the city and announced a new project that will be implemented by local authorities.
- From Bitola I announce the project "Open with the citizens - we create a new future" which will be a pillar in the undisputed fight against crime and corruption. In this project will work a team consisting of experts from the party but also from the civil sector and where citizens will be able to openly report abuse of their right to municipal administration, in those municipalities where VMRO - DPMNE has a majority in the Council and mayor. At the same time, they will be able to report their satisfaction or dissatisfaction and will follow the realization of the program with which we participated in the local elections, in order to be able to follow what I promised in the campaign because the promise should be delivered honestly and with dignity. With this project, we are turning a new leaf in the work of the municipal administration, which we will copy in the central administration, said Mickoski.
On the eve of the upcoming regular congress of VMRO - DPMNE, Mickoski announced that this week he will submit a candidacy for election of party president.
