The President of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski in "Theme of the day" in Sitel's diary, he said that the electricity will really increase by about 18 percent, and the people will burn everything they can find to warm up the upcoming winter. He says that precisely because of the "enemy collapse of the standard of government", he will propose to the EC of VMRO-DPMNE to make a decision on protests in several cities.

Mickoski said that with the new tariff model, the citizens will be damaged twice - once directly through the payment of bills and the second time through the budget, because again there will have to be between 150 and 200 million euros in grants from the budget to ELEM.

- They deliver 7,4 percent and that is a lie, I am ready to debate that with everyone, the percentage will be between 17 and 18% and the citizens will feel that in the bills. I have been saying that for two years. The price of electricity paid by households is formed on three bases, the price paid to ELEM, then the price to MEPSO for transmission and market and the price to the distributor, namely EVN. All this increased increases by a margin of 11,5%, said Mickoski.

He added that for Elektrani the increase is 17%, and EVN 20,94%, with simple mathematics you get an increase from 17% to 18%.

Everyone will feel it depending on the time of year, at least when there is no heating or cooling, it is about spring or partly autumn, but whenever air conditioners or heating with inverters are included, then the price can be up to 30-40% bigger. What should be mentioned is not to talk more about ecology and clean air because those who will feel 30-40% higher will look for an alternative way and will burn everything they can find to keep warm. This way, as ERC went through, will mean burning everything in winter, just to keep warm, said Mickoski.

Mickoski emphasized that for the small and medium industry the shock will be up to 300% and more and then business will be closed and people will lose their jobs and that is why the bad standard will call on the citizens to protest.

- Tomorrow we have an Executive Committee of the party and I want to ask to call the citizens to come out to mass protests in several cities, because this is unsustainable, said Mickoski.
