Mickoski: With these elections, the reform in VMRO-DPMNE literally ended
The President of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski tonight in a guest appearance on the television "Shenja" said that the process of reforms in the party ends with these local elections.
"With these local elections, the reform in VMRO-DPMNE literally ended", said Mickoski in the show "Debates".
He says that personnel changes have been made at almost all levels in the party, mentioning the large number of new MPs, the people who make up the councilor lists in the local elections, as well as the changes made in the VMRO-DPMNE municipal committees across the country.
Mickoski made a comparison with the ruling SDSM, noting that "there are still characters who are associated with the transition and the past."
Regarding whether VMRO-DPMNE experienced its catharsis after Gruevski's rule, Mickoski stressed that his party has the power for internal catharsis and change, stating that as a party they twice went with non-partisan candidates: in the presidential elections with Professor Gordana Siljanovska and for Mayor of Skopje, Danela Arsovska.
