- These are their internal affairs. I just wish that we have a quality political debate with which Macedonia moves forward, and the citizens will have hope that they will have a beautiful future, Mickoski said.

Asked about the Open Balkans initiative and the fact that VMRO-DPMNE is delaying the ratification of agreements with Albania and Serbia, Mickoski said that this initiative has been present in the public for a long time, but that neither the previous Prime Minister Zoran Zaev nor the current Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski called on the opposition to informs about what is happening and what is the goal of Open Balkans.

– When we get information about what the goal of the initiative is and what that initiative brings, then we can sit down and talk more specifically about support or non-support. We are serious people and if it is a really serious initiative we cannot give support a priori but we really need a serious explanation. I heard in one explanation that it is about good neighborly cooperation and I often ask the question how two of these three countries that are in the open Balkans border, said Mickoski.

Today, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Mickoski had a meeting with the president of the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Trajan Angeleski.
