Mickoski asked Ohrid to hold early parliamentary elections as soon as possible
Early parliamentary elections are due soon. This parliamentary majority and the DUI government administered by Kovaceski are maintained in an artificial way, said today from Ohrid Hristijan Mickoski, the president of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE.
He announced that the opposition party will soon propose activities aimed at calling new elections as soon as possible.
- We are ready and we will submit amendments to the Electoral Code to the Parliament, in which there will be no technical government, ie a hundred days of wasting citizens' time, but we will use the constitutional deadline of 45 to 60 days, said Mickoski.
VMRO-DPMNE, he said, does not oppose going to the elections with the current composition of the government.
- If they are scared, let Spasovski remain Minister of Interior, let the new Minister of Labor and Social Affairs remain… There will be no deputies from the opposition in agriculture, finance, information society, let this government remain as it is and let us go to the early parliamentary elections , said Mickoski, announcing that the opposition party is ready to discuss the introduction of one constituency.
