The leader of VMRO-DPNE, Hristijan Mickoski said that today he exercised his right to vote, calling on citizens to do the same.

"I want to thank all the citizens who came out and voted today, because they took their destiny into their own hands. "That is the only way to put an end to this apathy, to the hopelessness that reigns in the country, to the huge crime, corruption and everything that has been a really serious problem in the past period," Mickoski wrote on his Facebook profile.

He believes that no matter for whom the people voted, they have his respect, and thanked them for realizing and exercising their civil right today by going to the polls.

"I appeal, everything that has happened in the past few days, all those irregularities, pressures, threats, blackmail, bribes can be overcome only with mass turnout," he added.
