A proposal that is an ultimatum for the future of Macedonia, a dictate for megalomaniac demands, for such a proposal the answer is no thanks, said the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski after The government announced the French proposal and called on the citizens to go out to a mass protest in front of the Government tomorrow.

- Predog is the same one who was already rejected once. The proposal contains all the Bulgarian requirements. Accepting such a proposal means accepting the demands of Bulgaria to change our textbooks, accepting that Gotse Delchev, Jane Sandanski were Bulgarians, that the Macedonian language is a dialect of the Bulgarian language. If Kovacevski and Maricic say otherwise, I tell you they are lying - said Mickoski and added that he and VMRO-DPMNE would not be complicit in such a process.

He showed the two documents, that is, the draft version and the submitted French proposal, and stated that they are identical with two semantic changes.

He explained where the essence was and where the change was made. In the first document on page five, point three, it is stated that in the negotiation framework, both sides will give statements on how they understand the Macedonian language. There will be a unilateral statement from Bulgaria that they do not recognize the Macedonian language. The second semantic change is on page 10 where the Good Neighbor Agreement is quoted where Article 12 of the agreement will be decisive if we advance. It regulates the governmental conferences between Macedonia and Bulgaria. The bilateral protocol has been replaced by annual measures. If you have not taken measures, you will be subject to a veto. According to Mickoski, this is the difference that Osmani and Maricic are arguing about. The second document, which is the second intergovernmental conference, on page 7, point 11, states that Macedonia will not open the first "Foundations" cluster until the Constitution is amended. On page 8, the part about the language has been deleted, but it is clearly stated that Macedonia cannot start the negotiation process until the protocol is signed by the joint intergovernmental commission. It is the protocol that contains the history, the culture, everything that we need to change in the textbooks.

- Everything you hear from Kovacevski is not a vision, but a shame for future generations because Kovacevski and Maricic dared to trample the Macedonian identity. Kovacevski convinced us in the company of Osmani that it was a vision. It's not a vision, it's a shame and a betrayal. VMRO-DPMNE does not accept that and will fight. We do not accept such an ultimatum, now is the moment when the right side should be taken, the side of Macedonia. We need to be loud, I call for a nationwide protest tomorrow in front of the Government at 19 pm. I call on all the people of Macedonia and beyond to defend and save the Macedonian identity and the negotiation process - Mickoski said.
