Mickoski to the diplomats: When you stand and take a picture with the Government, you are posing with people deeply involved in crime

The President of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski expects the pressure from the diplomats to change the Constitution to increase, but that he will not budge even by a millimeter and remains of the opinion that this parliamentary composition does not have a mandate for constitutional changes. The opposition leader told the diplomats who are yet to come, to take care of their reputation when taking pictures and supporting the Government of DUI and SDSM, because they are taking pictures, as he said, with criminals.

"From what we discussed with the German Foreign Minister, I gave our arguments, it is not proper to say what they said, but I did not hear enough arguments to convince me to change my position, and therefore the conclusion was that this Parliament does not have a mandate for constitutional amendments, that under the Bulgarian dictate VMRO-DPMNE will not accept constitutional amendments and that we have a plan which is composed of three parts which contains a national, political and economic plan. We are ready to make that plan available to EU diplomats right after the elections," Mickoski said.

He repeated that the way out of the problem is quick early parliamentary elections in which the parties will come up with a plan to overcome the problem.

"VMRO-DPMNE behaves seriously and offers a plan to get out of the crisis, and the first step is early parliamentary elections. I am telling everyone who comes, the people who lead the process today - the DUI and SDSM government are unreliable and do not enjoy authority among the citizens. Each of them should be aware that when he stands next to those people, he is creating a problem for himself, because soon from today he will have to face the fact that he stood, took pictures and posed with people who were deeply involved in crime and corruption, and that is not I know how it will be received in their home countries. Therefore, I appeal not to save the political career of political criminals from the DUI Government supported by SDSM, to turn to the people and ask the people what they expect, and the people expect a new government that will be supported by the people, Mickoski said.

He says that he expects the pressure from the diplomats to intensify because, according to him, that is what they are demanding from our Government.

"The pressures will continue because they are asking the Government to put pressure on them." No problem, I have no problem with the pressures. Are they fierce, yes they are fierce and they will continue, but the difference from Prespa is that now VMRO-DPMNE is conosled, united and has no weak link, now they are not other centers of influence. We are unique, not because we lead in spite, but we believe that this what we do is history. Personally, I will not move even a millimeter and I will endure all the pressures which, believe me, are not pleasant. But after this, either it won't happen or it won't happen, I believe it won't happen," Mickoski said.

When asked by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski what is VMRO-DPMNE's position on the constitutional amendments, whether it is Mickoski's or former leader Nikola Gruevski's, he said that his position is clear and called on the Prime Minister to answer what Gruevski's position is.

"My position is clear, stated in public, repeated and unchanging, etc. And as for the attitude of the former president of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, maybe Kovacevski can tell you more. If he knows the details, let him share them with the public. It is good to ask him, at the next meeting with him, to ask him what is the attitude of who he knows, and the public does not know, neither do I, nor do I suppose the citizens", Mickoski.
