Meat is the next product whose prices should be frozen, says Branimir Jovanovic

The Economist Branimir Jovanovic from the Vienna Institute, in his tonight's show "Economic Magazine" on "Alsat" said that the following food products whose prices the Government should freeze, because, as he says, meat accounts for a high 9 percent of the value of the consumption basket.
"Meat and meat products should be next in line for freezing." It's much more important to freeze that than pasta, rice, etc. because people spend a lot more on meat than on pasta, rice, etc. "Meat makes up 9 percent of the consumption basket," says Jovanovic.
The government recently froze the prices of bread, pasta and milk and dairy products to stop price increases. Some of the government ministers openly accused the food industry companies of unjustifiably raising the prices of the products.
