The news that the Croatian Government has decided to conclude an agreement for the assignment of the claims of the bankrupt workers in Dalmaciavino, which enables the payment of back wages to the workers in that company, brings back memories of the popularity of this measure, which was a trade union exclusive. With the decision on a one-time aid measure for the procurement of pork halves, a one-time payment of up to 600 euros per worker will be provided, announced the Business HR. The Croatian Government says that this way will ensure the preservation of the traditional way of processing pork and the preparation of traditional semi-permanent and permanent dried meat products, which, in addition to preserving the traditions of families on smaller farms, provide part of the household's needs for meat. and meat products.

- 900.000 euros have been provided for the implementation of the decision. A State program was also adopted to support producers of pigs with a higher slaughter weight. It will allow the distribution of aid to compensate for the loss of income for pigs with a higher final weight sent for slaughter from facilities in restricted zones due to swine fever in the period from October 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 - the Government of Croatia decided.

According to the State Statistics Office, last year a Macedonian family consumed barely 23,4 kilograms of pork with bones and mole, while the consumption of beef with and without bones amounted to about 15 kilograms. Last year, the average Macedonian family consumed 29 kilograms of chicken meat.
