The perpetrator of the murder remains unknown for now, but it has been speculated that Ukrainian forces may be behind this murder.
The Russian intelligence service (FSB) claims that Bohdan Petrovich Tsyganenko helped prepare the murder of Daria Dugina, daughter of Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin whom the West considers the main motivator of the war in Ukraine and "Putin's mastermind". The FSB accuses Tsyganenko of giving Natalia Vovk Shaban a fake identity card and fake license plates and helping her make an explosive device that was planted in Daria Dugina's car.
American intelligence agencies believe that part of the Ukrainian government approved the killing of Darya Dugina, the daughter of a prominent Russian nationalist, by detonating explosives in her car near Moscow, the New York Times reported, citing unnamed officials.
