McCarthy did not allow Zelensky to speak in front of US congressmen

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States Congress, Kevin McCarthy, announced today that he did not allow the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenski to speak before congressmen.
He said that there was not enough time for the Ukrainian president's speech because they were too busy, American television NBC reported.
McCarthy recalled that Zelensky had already spoken before Congress during his previous visit to Washington in December 2022.
Zelensky arrived in Washington today for talks with congressmen, especially Republicans, who are increasingly opposed to sending additional aid to Ukraine.
After the meetings with them, the Ukrainian president will meet with US President Joe Biden at the White House.
