PHOTO + VIDEO | "40x40": Megan Markle appeared in the company of Melissa McCarthy on the occasion of her birthday
Megan Markle celebrated her 40th birthday yesterday and on that occasion she released a video in which she appears for the first time after the birth of her daughter Lilibet Diana, who was born in early June.
In the video, which she posted on the Archewell Foundation's Instagram account, Megan hired actress Melissa McCarthy to promote her new 40X40 project, which she wants to help women who lost their jobs during the pandemic.
"Thinking about my 40th birthday and the many things I am grateful for, I was surprised that time is one of our greatest and most essential gifts. Time with our loved ones, time to do the things we love, time spent learning, laughing, growing, and the sacred time we have on this earth. Among the most valuable gifts is the time spent in the service of others knowing that we can contribute to incredible change. With my 40th round of the sun, I wonder: what will happen if we all dedicate 40 minutes to helping someone else or mentoring someone in need? "And then what happens if we ask our friends to do the same?" Is only part of the description of Megan's video.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared in a simple white T-shirt and sweater, and the video was made at her home in California. During her address, one of her dogs is seen enjoying herself crouched on the pillow behind her.

At one point, the camera captures Megan's desk, which features previously unseen family photos.
At the very end of the video, Harry appears, who can be seen through the window juggling in the yard.
As a reminder, members of the British royal family congratulated Megan on her 40th birthday on social media.
