The "Ante Popovski - Antevo pero" event presented the awards to this year's laureates

The special edition of award-winning authors, winners of the Competition for an unpublished poetry book in the Macedonian language, which is traditionally held in honor of the great Macedonian poet Ante Popovski, is enriched with the collection "50 sung stories", for which the author Aleksandar Rusjakov became this year's winner of the prestigious award "Antevo Feather."
The book is published by the publishing house "Three", and the award is given by the Association for the preservation of the work of Ante Popovski - "Antevo pero" Skopje.
The awarding ceremony took place within the framework of the central ceremony of the poetic and cultural manifestation "Ante Popovski - Antevo pero" on September 27 at the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle for Independence.
The visitors present at the event had the opportunity to watch video materials with a short recital by academician Ante Popovski, as well as recordings of his songs interpreted by the artist Sofia Gogova Vrchakovska. The moderator of the event was Aleksandra Jurukovska, MA, and Dr. Atina Cvetanoska addressed the audience on behalf of the committee for awarding the award.
At the ceremony, the "Antev gold medal" award was awarded to the poets Milena Siljanoska and Aleksandra Spaseska, as well as the "Antev watch" award to Svetla Jaksic.
The event is held in honor of the work of the bard of contemporary Macedonian poetry, Academician Ante Popovski, and is supported by the Annual Program for 2023 of the Ministry of Culture.
