Italy's national team defeated Hungary 3-2 in Budapest in the last round of Group 0 of Division A in the Nations League and secured a place in the final tournament to be played next year.

The "Azuri" celebrated with the goals of Raspadori and Dimarco and they took the first place in the Hungarian table.

– We were great for 70 minutes, I didn't like the last 20 minutes. When you work so hard to get a two-goal lead, there's no point in struggling like this in the last 20 minutes. We should have continued to press and look to score a third goal. I lost my voice because I kept yelling for those last 20 minutes. We are happy, it is important that in the end we secured a place in the final tournament - said the head coach of Italy, Roberto Mancini.

Mancini had words of praise for goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who made several excellent saves to prevent the Hungarians from scoring.

- Gigi did a great job, it can be seen that she regularly defends in PS. His confidence shows it. I am happy because we wanted to qualify for the play-offs with these two wins against England and Hungary. That's why we played two good games.
