French President Emmanuel Macron said today that success must be achieved in talks to revive the 2015 nuclear deal between world powers and Iran, taking into account the interests of regional partners, including Israel.

– We have to protect this (nuclear) agreement with Iran. And let's take into account the interests of our friends in the region, primarily Israel, Macron said at the joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid.

According to Lapid, the call made by Macron in 2018 about the need for a "new nuclear deal" with Iran is still valid.
