Macedonian handball players defeated in the first control duel against Serbia

The selected players of the coach Ljubomir Savevski within the EHF on Sunday lost today in the first of the two friendly matches against Serbia with a result of 33:25 (20:10).

The Serbian handball players opened the match much better, quickly gained a convincing advantage and kept control of the game and the result throughout the first half.

Our team played something more aggressive in the second half and managed to reduce some of the big negative. In our ranks, Janeska was the most efficient with nine goals, Stojkovska scored four, and Ristovska and Gichevska scored three goals each.

The match was attended by the first people of the two handball federations - the President of the Handball Federation of Macedonia, Zivko Mukaetov and the Secretary General Filip Milosevski, as well as the President of the Board of the Handball Federation of Serbia, Milena Delic and the Secretary General Svetozar Stankovic. On the eve of the match, the leadership of the two federations held a meeting in Stara Pazova, where they discussed mutual cooperation in the areas of junior national team categories and professional staff.

The second control match between these two teams will be played on Monday (November 29) starting at 12.00:XNUMX.
