Today the best Macedonian national team lost the return match in Bucharest against Romania (24:22) in the first part of the qualification for the 2023 World Cup.

But, despite the fact that the players of the coach Kiril Lazarov lost, thanks to the victory of eight goals difference two days ago in Skopje (30:22), they secured a place in the second barrage where Czech Republic which is the last obstacle on the way to the World Cup.

During the first half, our players mainly controlled the result, we had a three goal difference three times (2:5, 7:10, 8:11), but left at the break with a draw 12:12.

We did not show ourselves in the best light of this match, with a lot of mistakes in the attack, although the Romanians can not boast in that segment, but in the end they came at least to a consolation victory.

The last time we led at the start of the second part with 13:14, and then the Romanians were the ones who maintained the advantage, the highest reached "plus three" (19: 16, 20: 17).
