"Macedonian citizens are responsible for the pandemic compared to their neighbors," Despotovski said

Jovan Despotovski, Director of TIDZ / Morning Briefing

The Director of the Directorate for Technological-Industrial Development Zones (TIDZ), Jovan Despotovski, in tonight's guest appearance on Telma TV, about whether the management and companies require mandatory vaccination, said that the first priority of any measure is to deal with the pandemic and that it has a small dilemma.

-As a person and a parent I can say my position regarding the mandatory vaccination. I personally went to bed and got vaccinated. My oldest 14-year-old son received two doses at his request. Protecting people is an absolute priority, but any measures that will reduce fears and consequences for the economy are something that needs to be considered. Different practices are applied in the world. Austria resorted to rigorous measures, we have a lockdown there again. The numbers in the neighborhood are also not great, Despotovski said on the show "Top Topic".

According to him, in Macedonia, in the whole accident, the citizens and the society "proved to be quite responsible in that part".

- Compared to the numbers in the neighborhood, the level of responsibility in our country for the whole situation is much higher and should be taken into account, added Despotovski.
