Macedonian representative Mekic had an excellent performance in his debut for Zadar

In the first round derby in the strongest basketball league in Croatia in the race for the championship title the lineup of Zadar lost minimally with 83:84 of Split.

Zadar led throughout the match, but at the very end of the match Split managed to achieve the triumph.

The Macedonian representative made his debut for Zadar Adem Mekic who had an excellent performance of 15 points in almost 24 minutes of play.

Only Marko Ramljak with 20 and Dario Drezhnjak with 19 points were more efficient than our player.

On the opposite side, Mate Kalajdzic was in the best mood with 22 points, Markel Lewis Sullivan had six less.

The coach of Zadar, Daniel Jusup after the end of the match he said that he was satisfied with the performance of Mekić who has only been with the club for two days, he contributed to the game, with creation, shot, he helped a lot. Jusup expects such a contribution in the next matches as well.
