Macedonian ceramist Filip Fidanovski presents his exhibition "Picasso, maybe me" in Croatia

After the successful presentations of "Picasso, maybe I" in Skopje, Kichevo, Ohrid, Bitola and Kumanovo, the exhibition of Filip Fidanovski, this time supplemented with new works made in 2024, is presented to the Croatian public, who have the opportunity to look at 13 ceramic sculptures inspired by the works of the great Pablo Picasso.

The exhibition is set up in the gallery "Kerameikon K10" of the Association of Ceramicists of Croatia in Varaždin, it is realized with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia, and it was opened by H.E. prof. Dr. Milaim Fetai, Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia to the Republic of Croatia. The cultural public in Varaždin can visit the exhibition from May 18 to June 5, 2024.

Filip Fidanovski (Skopje, 1977) graduated from secondary art school in Skopje in 1996 in the class of professors Rade Perchuklievski and Miho Lazarov. He continued his education at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria, where in 2004 he obtained his master's degree at the department of ceramics in the class of Professor Krasimir Jidrov.

From 1995 until today, he has held 23 solo exhibitions, over 50 group and juried exhibitions, he has participated in many art colonies and symposiums. He is the winner of five awards. He is a member of several professional associations.

He is the author of a manual for teaching art education, as well as practical exercises and materials for art education students for the 3rd and 5th grade in primary education. He is the editor of several monographic publications, magazines and catalogs. He lives and works in Skopje.
