The Macedonian Association of Cinematographers participated in the "BalCam" Festival in Ljubljana

The work of Macedonian cinematographers was presented by Dejan Dimeski

On the initiative of the Slovenian and Macedonian Association of Cinematographers, the third edition of the "BalKam" (Balkan Camera) Festival was held from January 18 to 22 at the Cinematheque of Slovenia in Ljubljana, where films from the former Yugoslav republics are shown with an emphasis on cinematographic work. and cinematographers as authors.

The Macedonian Association of Cinematographers - MAK at the Society of Filmmakers of Macedonia (DFRM), the oldest relevant professional association in the field of film production and other audio-visual media, whose goals are to realize and protect the rights and interests of the Macedonian film professionals, who operate on the territory of Macedonia and abroad, as well as ensuring continuous development of the film industry, stimulation and advancement of the film profession, promotion of film art and culture in our country.

This year, the Macedonian Association of Cinematographers participated with films shot in Macedonia by Macedonian cinematographers and supported by the Film Agency of the Republic of Macedonia.

MAK screenings began on January 19 with the short feature film "North Pole" by cinematographer Vladimir Samoilovski. The following day, on January 20, the feature film "Mimi" by cinematographer Dejan Dimeski and the student short film "Progesteror" by cinematographer Dimitar Atanasoski from FDU - Skopje were shown.

The last film presented by the Macedonian Association of Cinematographers was "Tatovirjana", by the cinematographer Misho Samolovski, and it was shown on January 22, within the "Film legend" program.
