Macedonia with two medals at the Balkan Youth Championship in sport climbing

It took place from May 27 to 29, 2022 in the Turkish city of Aydin Balkan Youth Climbing Championship in the disciplines of leadership and speed in which over 80 competitors from six Balkan countries participated: Turkey, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia.

The Macedonian climbing team consisted of 14 competitors in five categories.

Although for most this was the first match of this international character, everyone gave their best for a better result.

The Macedonian team returned with two medals won (silver and bronze) in categories C (2009-2010) and D (2011-2012), and credited for this success are Vasil Karagjozov from Astibo - Stip with second place and Gordan Zografski from Extreme - Skopje on the third position.

The other results of the Astibo competitors are as follows:

- Ignat Sanev 8th place (category D)
- Matej Markov 8th place (category B)
- Labina Dimitrova 9th place (category B)
- Eva Karagjozova 15th place (category D)
