Macedonia ranks first in Europe in the number of deaths, and Serbia in the number of infected with covid-19 in one week

In the past seven days, Serbia ranks first in Europe and second in the world in the average daily number of new coronavirus infections per million inhabitants, according to ourworlddata.org.

According to the website, Serbia has an average of 1018 new cases in the small island state of Grenada, with an average of 1447 newly infected daily, the Belgrade daily Danas reported.

Montenegro is in third place, Mongolia in fourth and the Dominican Republic in fifth. The top ten countries include Israel, Suriname, Cuba, Santa Lucia and Antigua and Barbuda.

Of the European countries, Slovenia is on the list immediately after Serbia, with an average of about 500 new cases of infections per million inhabitants in the past seven days, followed by the United Kingdom.

According to the number of deaths last week, Grenada is again on the first place in the world with 212 deaths per million inhabitants, and in Europe the first is Northern Macedonia with 96 deaths, which is the fourth place in the world.

In Europe, according to mortality, after Northern Macedonia are Bulgaria, BiH and Kosovo, and Serbia is on the 27th place in the world.
