Another great performance the Macedonian junior basketball team on The European Championship – Division B in Skopje rounded off with a convincing triumph in SRC "Kale" over Portugal (71:42) and placement in the semi-finals.

The winning streak of our "under 18" men's team continues. After the five victories in the group stage, one more has arrived, in definitely one of the most important matches in the current part of the championship.

If in the previous ones the attention of our professional staff was somehow focused on the attack, in these 40 minutes, Macedonia showed that it knows how to play well in defense as well. We left the quality opponent to eight points in the first quarter, nine in the third quarter.

That is, in those in which we made the key advantage that brought us "entry" into the first "four" of the EP. Of course, we did not forget about the attack, once again, we had a fairly correct distribution of points in which Janicic, Stojkovic, Lukanoski and Marjanovic participated for the most part.

Marko Lukanovski achieved a new double-double performance of 17 points and 14 rebounds, the team captain, Nikola Janicic stood at the effect of 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Stojkovic finished with 13 points (and four rebounds), while Marjanovic added a score of 10 points (four assists and two rebounds).

In the semi-finals, the national team of Macedonia will play against the better team from the Switzerland-Bulgaria match.
