Macedonia and Albania signed an agreement on cooperation in industrial property
Albania and Macedonia signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of industrial property. The document was signed yesterday in Tirana by the director of the Macedonian State Industrial Property Office (DZIS), Blerim Idrizi, and Rowena Beqiraj, general director of the Albanian General Directorate of Industrial Property (DPPI).
- The purpose of this meeting was the signing of the cooperation agreement in the field of industrial property with the aim of deepening the cooperation between the two countries. The two directors expressed mutual readiness and good desire for cooperation in this field in order to increase the awareness of industrial property rights, which will ensure the most efficient implementation of these rights for the respective countries - it is stated in the announcement of the two institutions.
Director Beqiraj considered that this agreement is of great importance.
- The signing of this agreement is a strategic obligation of the General Directorate for Industrial Property to further strengthen bilateral relations at the international level with the collective offices in the field of industrial property - she said, it is indicated in the DPPI announcement.
The two colleagues expressed their readiness to cooperate in this field in order to increase the awareness of industrial property rights, thereby ensuring the most effective implementation of these rights for the respective countries.
According to the announcement of the Macedonian Institute for Industrial Property, the general director of the Agency for Industrial Property of the Republic of Kosovo, Isa Dukaj, also participated in the meeting. This meeting was "the result of the very good cooperation between our three countries".
