Macedonia Gjorce Petrov and CSKA Sofia will play a friendly match after the summer doubleheader in the Conference League at the height of the strained relations between the two countries.

The match will be played with one message - no violence. Due to the relations between the states, Bulgarian teams such as Pirin from Blagoevgrad, who were supposed to play with FC Skopje, refused to play the matches.

"FC Macedonia Gjorce Petorv as a football club, a Macedonian brand, has always stood for social responsibility and without national, ethnic, or any other activity outside the green field.

After the joint initiative with the football club CSKA Sofia before the start of the match, let's go out in a slogan, with the message "NO TO VIOLENCE" and that politics should be outside of football.

The two clubs will play tomorrow's match in the spirit of friendship and building football manners and virtues", the announcement of the club from Gjorce states.
