Michael Douglas (77) spoke for the first time about why he refused to work with the actress Debra Winger. In the 100th episode of the podcast on Rob LoweDouglas confirmed the rumors circulating in Hollywood almost 40 years since filming the action adventure "Green Diamond Hunt", transmits New York Post.
Winger was stripped of the lead role in the film because while having dinner with the director Robert Zemeckis, she bit Douglas on the arm. They met at dinner to convince Zemeckis and Douglas of the role.
"We had dinner together and drank a few tequilas. We went out and, like when you lightly slapped someone on the shoulder and said, 'Oh, you!', She grabbed my hand and bit me," he said in a Rob Lowe podcast.
When he returned to Hollywood, Douglas, as he said, cried in front of his colleagues and told them that he could not work with her.
