Since Russia invaded Ukraine almost four months ago, more than 13 million Ukrainians have fled their homeland. Some cities, such as Mariupol, have been completely destroyed. Many families fled at the beginning of the war, but not everyone understood why they were leaving. The war has undoubtedly affected children most who are particularly confused and sensitive about this issue, and it will be even more difficult for those with disabilities to understand everything that is happening.

When the home of Liana Rohozhin was destroyed in Mariupol, she and her family were forced to flee. Her 19-year-old son, Misha with Down Syndrome, was so upset that he had to give up everything he knew before. To comfort him, Liana told Misha that they were on their way to find the wrestling champion. John Sina.

It was certainly a story that the desperate mother came up with in a difficult situation. As a parent, everyone does what they must to protect their children. Liana had no idea that John Cena would not only find out about their plight but also do his best to comfort her son and the whole family.

Sina happened to be in Europe when she read a text about their fate and the way the mother motivated her son to escape the terrible war that is still raging in Ukraine.

The popular star met a family near Amsterdam, the Netherlands and spent a pleasant afternoon playing dice and enjoying cakes. Sina has only nice words for Misha and his mother. "Misha's ability to persevere is extraordinary," he said, adding that Misha and Liana are "two great examples of persistence that can lead to happiness, even in the most difficult moments."

After spending the day with the young man and giving him wrestling equipment, he told him: “This was a wonderful adventure in which I met a wonderful new friend. "Thank you for giving me strength."
