Madonna demands a meeting with Pope Francis: I am a good Catholic, I have been rejected three times!
The queen of pop music Madonna wants to talk to Pope Francis for "some important things", so she hopes he will have the will and time to meet her.
The singer tweeted the pope if he would like to meet her, although her last confession was a long time ago.
"I am a good Catholic. I swear! "I mean, I'm not cursing!" She wrote on Twitter.
Madonna, whose 40-year career is equally known for its chart hits and conflicts with the Catholic Church, has admitted that "several decades" have passed since her last confession, but would still like to try.
"Could we meet one day and talk about some important things?" The singer asked.
Hello @Pontifex Francis —I'm a good Catholic. I Swear! I mean I do not Swear! Its been a few decades since my last confession. Would it be possible to meet up one day to discuss some important matters?
I've been ex communicated 3 times. It does not seem fair. Sincerely Madonna- Madonna (@Madonna) May 5, 2022
Although Madonna did not specify what it was, she did indicate what she would like to talk about.
"I was excommunicated three times. "It does not look fair," La Madonna wrote.
A few years ago, a 63-year-old mother of six who was baptized and raised a Catholic told James Corden, host of The Late Late Show, James Corden that she was "communicated three times".
It is not clear if the pop queen was serious. Throughout her career, however, Madonna has proudly used controversies that have fueled her understanding of topics such as sex, same-sex love, and Christian symbolism.
When she arrived in Italy in the summer of 1990 as part of her third concert tour to promote her fourth studio album, "Like a Prayer", the then pope John Paul II called on Christians not to go to concerts, calling her tour "one of the most satanic performances in human history".

The star also angered the church after her performance in Rome in 2006, where she was "crucified" on stage as part of her performance.
This is not the first time Madonna has expressed a desire to meet with Pope Francis, as she has previously revealed what she would like to hear his opinion if they sit down to talk.
Speaking in the interview at Andrew Denton in 2019, she said: “Let's talk about how Jesus views women. "Let's talk about it."
"What do you really think he meant about women?" "Do you not think that Jesus would agree that a woman has the right to choose what to do with her body?" Madonna asked, adding:
"One day he could call me. "I think this one could… I think he would be open to that conversation with me."
Pope Francis has not yet responded to Madonna's invitation to the meeting.
