Lovren: It's still up to us, we're going to finish the job against Belgium
Croatia defeated Canada with 4:1 in the match of the second round of group "F" on World Cup in Qatar, Andrej Kramaric twice entered the list of scorers.
Tonight in Doha, after the victory over Canada, Kramaric said that this is a special night, both for him and for all his teammates.
- The beginning was difficult, but we showed what Croatia always shows. We had focus and mental strength. We got back on track and ended up winning dominantly. But there is no big celebration. The last game in the group decides, and of course we want to continue - said Kramarić, as reported by HINA.
Then he commented on both of his goals against the Canadians.
– My two goals? Of course, this is a special night for me and the whole team. Two goals are not often scored in the World Cup. This is a dream come true - says Kramarić.
His representative colleague Dejan Lovren also commented on the match with satisfaction.
– This victory brought relief because there was a lot of pressure on us. These three points are very important to us. Except for the first five minutes, we did everything fantastic, and maybe we needed that conceded goal to "wake up". They surprised us, but everything worked after that. It's still up to us, we're going to finish the job against Belgium. It will be difficult - are the words of Lovren.
