Ljupчоo had a heart-mountain: A friend sadly tells about the acquaintance with the bus driver

Driver Ljupcho Zafirov is one of the dead in the terrible bus accident in Bulgaria, in which, according to official sources, 44 people lost their lives and seven were injured.

The longtime mountaineer Igor Smilev for Фокус with great sadness he tells about his friendship with Zafirov, who for a long time cooperated with the mountaineering associations in organizing the tours.

"Ljupчоo was a tormented soul. Heart-Mountain, a person who knew how to help even in the most difficult moments. His wife left him, took everything from him, and he started to rise from the ashes again from "zero". "The mountaineering community lost a huge friend, a top professional," says Smilev.

His mountaineering company had 90% of the tours as Zafirov as a driver, and Smilev has only words of praise for his expertise and professionalism.

"He always tried to please us and safely took us to the mountains and brought us home. He often knew how to lower the price when he saw that five or six people had canceled the trip. He said to me: Abe Smilev, this is how you will give money from your pocket. "Give a thousand less," added our interlocutor.

When he heard the news about the tragedy, our interlocutor had a very bad feeling, and as soon as he found out that Zafirov was among the dead, he was shocked. One moment especially bothers the mountaineer.

"Ljupчоo called me four or five days ago, but I failed to call him. Usually he did that as soon as he came to Veles, so we drank coffee in a bar. Now I am very sorry that I did not call him. I will never know why he was looking for me. "I am too sad, at least if I had called him, maybe I would have changed a lot of things," Smilev said.

"The man took us safely and brought us home, and I do not have a single photo with one of the most deserving people for all the organized tours," Smilev says with regret.
