These days, a big scandal is shaking the Medical Faculty at the State University of Tetova (SUT). Namely, it was announced that the students at the Faculty of Medical Sciences are taught by professors whose scientific papers are plagiarism, say in their statement from the political party Left.

-The Italian newspaper "Veritas" in a recent article reveals plagiarism and copying of scientific papers by several respected professors of medicine from the University of Tetova. According to the research of "Veritas", these are scientific papers of: Emira Bexheti, Nedzhbedin Beadini, Albulena Beadini, Sheqibe Beadini, Mirlind Bexheti, Destan Khalidi, Ekrem Ismani, which are obvious plagiarism, mostly directly transcribed text without citing sources or citing works in the literature, they say.

According to them An analysis of the disputed works by researchers and a comparison with the original texts was made, and it was determined that the scientific papers of these professors are a complete plagiarism.

Namely, in these papers, the professors-authors have stolen literally entire texts, in which only the name, surname and the country where it is published have been changed. This should be an alarm for the whole public but also for the academic community, that in Macedonia, while quasi-education reforms are imposed, people publish quasi-scientific papers without any responsibility and based on that they gain academic titles and achieve other benefits. What is most astonishing is that such people not only play the role of pedagogues, they are even professors at higher education institutions where they teach knowledge to future generations, and some of them may be the "experts" referred to by the Minister of Education Mila Carovska. , supplement from there.

They add that the credibility of higher education institutions is also in question.

- The degradation of higher education, lack of control, financial motivation, nepotism, party interests, anti-academicism, intellectual mafia - are just some of the reasons that lead to such events. However, in the end, the students are the most harmed, who do not get the education they deserve. And in order to cover up the scandal, the Rector of SUT suspended the Dean of the Medical Faculty, Dr. Kastriot Hadzirexha, after previously unsuccessfully trying to force him to resign. The left is behind the view that professors accused of plagiarism should be annulled and deprived of their academic title and also terminated their employment contract, stated by the Left.
