Left: This is not the first incident for Vjosa Osmani - that DPMNE does not protect Gashi
After the scandal with the prayer in the Assembly and the incident at the Skopje airport, the Left is determined that Afrim Gashi no longer has the integrity to perform the function of the President of the Assembly and will therefore submit an interpellation for his dismissal, the Left said.
The incident that happened with the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, at the Skopje International Airport reflects the systemic disregard for institutions and laws, initially by the speaker Afrim Gashi himself, who has no authority to react in the specific case. The reaction of his security, outside of his powers, de facto hindered the normal functioning of the security procedures, Levica reacted.
From there they announced that "although it is clear that this is a scandalous overstepping of authority, where Macedonian institutions are being undermined to protect an official from another country - for three days there has been no announcement of responsibility from the government, except for a few flat-rate and diplomatic announcements".
"The fact that this is not her first international incident speaks for the shameless arbitrariness of Kosovo President Osmani. Osmani also caused such an incident with the airlines "Turkish Airlines" and "Austrian Airlines", where the companies did not allow the planes to take off until the international aviation standards for civil traffic were respected (despite the insistence of her security). At the very least, we qualify the reaction and protest note of the Kosovo government as SHAMEFUL, protecting the arbitrariness of Vjosa Osmani. The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations is decisive that only official guests of the Macedonian government are exempt from security screening, with the airport operator receiving an official notification of such exemption from the Ministry of Interior. By the fact that Osmani completely bypassed the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and called the speaker Gashi, it was confirmed that part of this government is directly controlled by Kurti", reacted Leftica.
Leftists say that they expect the announced meeting between Mickoski and Kurti, the prime minister of the Macedonian government to stand up for the Macedonian institutions and clearly condemn this scandalous behavior of the president of Kosovo.
"It is scandalous that the Ministry of the Interior only published a statement and there is still no responsibility for the security of Afrim Gashi, who had to be sanctioned immediately. "After the scandal with the prayer in the Assembly and the incident at the Skopje airport, the Left is determined that Afrim Gashi no longer has the integrity to perform the function of President of the Assembly, and therefore will submit an interpellation for his dismissal," informs the Left.
