The city of Skopje begins with the construction and reconstruction of Metropolitan Teodosij Gologanov Boulevard from the intersection with St. Kliment Ohridski Boulevard to the roundabout with the intersection with Mito Hadjivasilev Jasmin Street. The beginning of the construction works was promoted by the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, who explained that the reconstruction includes construction works on the road of 5.350 m2, bicycle path and sidewalks of 4.500 m2, new curbs, construction works on a new fecal sewerage F600 mm, construction of a new water pipe network and new street lighting with LED lamps with controllers.

The reconstruction, as he said, enables a thoroughfare with new footpaths, bicycle paths and additional bicycle lanes on the roadway.

- The reconstruction of this street solves the daily problems of the citizens of this part of the municipality of Centar, and we are working dedicatedly in their interest. The performance period is five months, and the City of Skopje for the reconstruction of the boulevard "M.T. Gologanov" invests 43 million denars. This project solves a big problem for residents who regularly travel to this part of the city center and additionally increases safety and security for road users - said Arsovska.

When asked why the reconstruction is only starting now, even though the performance contract was signed in September last year, Arsovska says that they should have completed all the necessary procedures.

"Not a whole year has passed, there was a period of complaints and other procedures and procedures, all the permits from the Ministry of the Interior related to the diversion of traffic on this part had to be secured so that the implementation could begin and it would be safe for all citizens" , said the mayor.

These days, Arsovska announced the beginning of construction works for the reconstruction of "Pero Nakov" street in the municipality of Gazi Baba.

- After several decades of neglect, we are starting with the reconstruction of "Pero Nakov" street, here in Gazi Baba municipality. The deadline for the execution of this project is four months, and the city of Skopje is a full investor with 47 million denars. The demand for the reconstruction of this street, as a decade-long problem, was highlighted by the citizens of Skopje who live in this part of the city. With this project, the daily traffic difficulties of more than 10.000 citizens from the local communities in Kiril Petrushevski, Triangla and Madžari 1 are solved. In addition to changing the asphalt, the curbs are also being reconstructed, new greenery will be installed, and the bus stops will be renovated. - said the mayor.

Earlier, the mayor of Skopje also inspected the construction works in the megapark "Dame Gruev" in the municipality of Gjorce Petrov, where preparatory leveling of the surface, digging and full marking are currently being carried out in accordance with the project for the park area. According to the city authorities, at this stage the pedestrian and bicycle paths and the space for other contents are laid out, and the necessary underground installations are also installed. The performance of the construction activities takes place within the predetermined time limits.

According to the project, the work activities and horticultural arrangement of the mega park envisage four phases of performance. The park is planned to be composed of three parts with a total area of ​​over 30.000 square meters. More than 2.200 trees are planned to be planted in the park. The park is being built on the site where a huge illegal dump of over 50.000 square meters was cleared.
