MP from VMRO-DPMNE Mile Lefkov came out with new knowledge about the businesses of Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski and the company Pixel Group, whose founder he was before assuming the post of Prime Minister. According to the opposition party, "the solar cartel was created through exceptional trade in influence with the abuse of state positions and functions."

- The suspicions are that Kovacevski and the godfather established a private company for the production of photovoltaics to sell to the state-owned TPP Oslomej. That is, Kumot and Kovachevski form a company, and the state provides a million-dollar business, claims Lefkov.

He also explains the steps they took with the private company:

-Eight months after Kovachevski took the prime minister's chair, on 24.08.2022/54/40, the Pixel Group founded by him founded a company for the construction of a factory for photovoltaic panels in TIRZ Tetovo together with the Bulgarian company AE Solar Horizon from Sofia, under the name AE Solar AD Tetovo . AE Solar AD Tetovo, according to media articles, is an investment of 21.6 million euros. In it, the share of the company founded by Kovacevski is XNUMX%, according to this, the part that she will invest in the factory is XNUMX million euros. Kovacevski's godfather, Gorancho Paunov, was appointed as an executive member of the board of directors, and Mirjana Paunova, his wife, Kovacevski's godmother, as a non-executive member of the board of directors. Even the Bulgarian company partner of the solar cartel was formed after Kovacevski became the Prime Minister of Macedonia, informs Lefkov.

He emphasized that Pixel Group's partner company - Solar Horizon AD Sofia was established on March 24.03.2022, 4, almost 15 months after the appointment of Kovacevski as Prime Minister with BGN XNUMX founding capital.

From the party that disclosed this affair, they ask if the Bulgarian partner company was founded practically only for the partnership with Pixel Group and how much will this cost Macedonia?

- The government should also sign an agreement for state aid with the company in which Pixel Group, formed by Kovacevski, is a 40% owner. Namely, if AE Solar AD Tetovo receives state aid, it will mean that Prime Minister Kovacevski is signing state aid for a company owned by a company founded by him and represented by his godfather. This is not the first time that the company founded by Kovacevski has received state aid. Pixel Group has 8 payments from the state from 2019 to 2021, 8 payments from the state, and for half of that time Kovacevski is the Deputy Minister of Finance. In these 8 payments, a total of 443 thousand euros were paid, and in the period from 2020 to 2021, payments were also made from the Innovation Fund worth 70 thousand euros, and that is also the time when Kovacevski is the Deputy Minister of Finance. In part of these payments, Kovacevski is already the mandate holder for the composition of the new Government, claims Lefkov.

Prime Minister Kovacevski emphasized yesterday that he reported transparently in his poll sheet everything he owns, adding that his complete biography is also available in the Parliament, at the moment when he was elected as Deputy Minister of Finance, and then as President of the Government, as well as on social media.

- Everything I have worked in my life so far has been the most transparent, given that you, as media, can find everywhere in the entire media space how all the companies in which I was a director or executive director or founder or co-founder functioned, Kovacevski pointed out and added that by assuming the political position as Deputy Minister of Finance, he withdrew his financial assets from "Pixel Group", the company he was the founder of and of which he says he is very proud.

Prime Minister Kovacevski emphasized that with the sale of the shares, he no longer has any interests there, nor any obligations regarding the management or operation of that company.

- What VMRO-DPMNE accuses is all put in questionable forms and refers to the operations of the companies when I was there and when I left. Everything is transparent, the Prime Minister said yesterday and asked the leader of the opposition, Hristijan Mickoski, to apologize for the baseless attacks on him.
