Kurti spoke to Borrell about the post-election situation in the north

Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced that he had spoken with the European Union's high representative for foreign policy, Josep Borrell, about current issues, including those following the elections in four municipalities in the north.

Kurti wrote on Twitter that he emphasized that the elected mayors will provide services for all citizens.

"I had a conversation with EU High Representative Josep Borrell regarding current issues, including those following the elections in four municipalities in the north. I emphasized that the elected mayors will provide services for all citizens. It is important to intensify the dialogue for the full implementation of the Basic Agreement," Kurti wrote on Twitter.

Before this conversation, Borel announced that he had spoken with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg about the situation in the north of Kosovo and that they agreed that Pristina must not take unilateral and destabilizing steps.
